Aura: A New Direction
The changes within my firm and with my art have been so sweeping I am not sure I can find a coherent starting point. We knew, more than a decade ago, that there had to be a way to get more information from our raw images. Along the way, we ended up knee deep in physics, specifically studying the work of Nyquist and Shannon. That, in turn, led to a closer look at the work of Lippmann and concluded with the conviction that he wasn't entirely right about the nature of light. So, now, we are able to take any raw image from any camera we have owned and create an image that has 400% more detail. This isn't an easy process.
